Right now the dresser in teh guest bedroom is where I am putting all my strange things. Portrait of "Mike", my Dia de los Muertos novia muneca, and the Peruvian lactating Madonna...
This is an awkward angle, but I am standing on the lower stairs looking up into the stairwell landing. Pictures are starting to be hung in the stairwell. Chair rail still to be hung, but I got impatient with my StL pics and maps!
New fireplace wall is finally complete! Wall color is Behr "Atmospheric" (lighter blue) and Glidden "Blue Grey Slate" (darker blue). Forsythia from Trader Joe's and framed calaveras prints from Jose Pulido.
This chair came into my posession via a guy I worked with on a farm. He had pulled it out of the trash, described it to me and I said I wanted it. It smelled awful, but now it is fine and VERY comfy! I love the ridiculous green velvet! The bookcase behind it was built by Joey to house our ever growing collection of entertainment machines. So far we have a Wii, PS3 (can't live without this one, honestly) and receiver.
Where the old ladies sit to chat. I love old chairs, what can I say?
